Lip Blush Semi-Permanent Makeup

One of the signs of aging is thinning lips just like eyebrows. Anything that is losing definition on the face whether the eyebrows, eyelids, or lips can give us an aging look.

This is the reason that lip color enhancement is as important as eyebrow treatment. Just like eyebrows, lips lose their colors and outline as we age which makes us ladies dependent on our lipsticks!

Lip blush also called lip tattoo is a semi-permanent makeup procedure for clients with very pale or hyper-pigmented lips. The aim of the treatment is to define the lips, even out, and enhance their color.

Having your lips tattooed with natural blush color, the lips will appear more youthful without the need for constant lipstick application. It is now easier to apply lipstick without the need for a lip liner!

What is a Lip Blush or Aquarelle technique?

The Lip blush or Aquarelle lips technique is a style of lip semi-permanent makeup where a natural lip tint effect is achieved. Unlike a matte lipstick effect, lip blush gives you natural healthy-looking lips. Lips will have a juicy tint look when a lip gloss or a tinted lip balm is applied. The aim is to recreate your luscious, supple, and younger-looking lips using muted natural color. You can still apply your favorite lipstick on top, which will look even brighter.

Contraindications

Lip Blush is NOT recommended for any clients who are or have:

Color

We have many lip pigments to choose from that will suit your natural lip color. If you have paler lips, depending on your skin tone and your desired color result, we can choose from red to pinkish or blush muted colors. However, if you have hyper-pigmented lips, we would need to neutralise your lips in the first session with orange or yellow pigments. The lips won’t appear orange or yellow when healed, but the hyperpigmented lips will be paler or lighter which will be ready for the next actual color on the 2nd or 3rd session.

Shape

The shape is defining your natural outline especially your cupid’s bow and vermillion borders.
